NCC is transitioning its preform process from the research and development phase to production by applying P4A to parts on the Air Force’s C-17 transport aircraft manufactured by Boeing. NCC is creating partnerships with local and national aerospace companies to produce composite C-17 aircraft parts. Over the next two years, NCC will help these companies move into independent full production of parts for the C-17 and other aircraft.
